02/21/2007 7:29 PM Alert
Hello everyone. I have been monitoring the progress of this website since we agreed to make it happen. Sorry I haven't been able to attend the meetings but I have been gone, I will also be gone most of the next 5 weeks. Not to worry, my comments will be in to the BLM on time and my support for this movement is high and strong.

Let me just say, that to all of you helping with the layout of this website, my hat's off to you. Wonderful job. I would really like to see more of you participate in the forum now.

I am also working in conjunction with my comments for the BLM on a posting for the AL GORE websites forum, there is a forum there for spreading grassroots movements and environmental awareness of important issues, I believe strongly that our current situation could use the help of more than just in state and local voices. The more people who know, the more people can be vocal.

Has there been another meeting time/place agreed upon? If it is this weekend, I am not going to be able to make it. I am going to be gone on a couple of weeks of work related trainings, and then a week of personal skiing with old friends. I'll be in touch via this forum if anything of import occurs while I am away.

Keep up the good work!! Anyone come up with a good group name yet? how about Residents for Renewable Energy? Good luck.

As White Pine County has its environmental problems in Ruth and McGill, this is not an excuse or reason to turn whole Steptoe Valley into a waste pit.
The county should have learned from the past. Maybe they still can.

Also, hiding behind a screen name and laughing is easy.
Use you real name, and then speak up.

Oskar Atkinson, McGill
